One of the images for the Kinky project on consensual Sadomasochism has been published in the latest paper issue of the italian magazine L'Espresso, to illustrate the success of the book '50 shades of gray'.

Pubblication in OJODEPEZ #30

My work 'In the absence of things' I shot in Russia in November\December 2011, has been published in the OJODEPEZ #30 for a special edition they made featuring winner and finalists of the Photo Espana Ojodepez Award 2012.

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE (?)

...They say. Well I am not quite sure that is all what we need, but for sure some stuff can really make you feel good.

I have been lucky to have been asked to shoot a wedding by a couple of friends who got married yesterday. Or got into a civil partnership, as they say. Not that makes much of a difference.

I have seen and shot quite a few weddings but some are really touching, and so was this one.
Maybe it's a form of egomania but when you see how strong this event is for some people, and how strong is the love that they have for each other... it makes you feel special to be the one the choose to capture that day. You feel special to have been asked to translate into pictures, with your words, what their feelings are. Well, I do, at least.

And so I want to thank them for the beauty they gave me yesterday and for allowing me to be part of that moment. I wish you all the love you deserve.

A TOUCH OF BEAUTY.

No matter how much you plan things have always differences from what you imagined if you allow them to surprise you, to turn your plans upside down, to penetrate you and be honest. 

It does make things way more challenging though, but it's greater fun and it's part of the discovery.

We'll see. 

Some beauty from far away. Though I don't think I should post for a while because the screen I am working on is too small to even look at images properly.
